“Vietnamese Vatel students have great behaviors and a sense of service. They are enthusiastic and professional in any service and support activities. There is no difference between Vietnamese Vatel students and the French official staff at the hotel”
Mr. Jean Marc Paybern, General Manager of Mercure Sensoria Saint-Lary-Soulan Hotel, France
Vatel’s global mission is to develop senior-level human resources for the Service and Tourism industry. With nearly 40 years of experience and 50 training institutions worldwide, Vatel has been providing an international standard training program for more than 35,000 former students and over 9,000 current students all over the world.
The training program of Vatel is built on the balance between theoretical, practical, and internship experience. It is a 3-year education degree, including 6 semesters and 3 compulsory internships at 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam or abroad. The efficiency is strongly enhanced by immediately applying the learned theory in a practical working environment. The number of practical sessions and internships accounts for 70% of the training program.
For 35 years, Vatel’s training quality has always met the international standards and won prestigious awards such as the "Worldwide Hospitality Award" ("Best Professional Success" and "Best Educational Innovation") and the "Best Hospitality Management School ”. In 2016, Vatel was honored to be the Best Hotel Management School in the world at the Worldwide Hospitality Awards.

Furthermore, students have the chance to do a 4-month internship in the first and second year and a 6-month internship in the last year at 5-stars hotels in Vietnam and abroad such as Park Hyatt, Sheraton and Intercontinental in Hongkong, Malaysia, Dubai, France, American...Upon the successful completion of the first year, students will be able to select one of 48 schools within the Vatel system worldwide to study and practice with no extra tuition cost included (according to the exchange program Marco Polo).
